Croke Park is more than just a stadium – it’s a significant landmark in Irish culture and a popular tourist destination for history and sports fans alike. It is a symbol of Irish culture and is often referred to as the “Cathedral of Gaelic games”. Gaelic Games are Hurling, Gaelic Football, Camogie, Handball and Rounders. The GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) is Ireland’s largest sporting organisation.
It represents our unique national games of hurling and Gaelic football and is celebrated as one of the world’s greatest amateur sporting associations. Croke Park is also a popular venue for concerts and conferences and has hosted several major music artists, including U2, Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay.
Croke park also offers a number of experiences from the GAA Museum visit to the famed ‘Skyline Tour’ – a thrilling rooftop walkway which is Dublin’s highest open-viewing platform and offering breathtaking panoramic views of Ireland’s vibrant capital from the mountains to the sea.
