A relatively new addition to the museum circuit of Dublin, this is a very pleasant walk from The Chancery Hotel, across St Stephen’s Green – you’ll be there in no time. MoLI is surrounded by the landscapes that inspired some of Ireland’s most renowned writers. This central location provides the perfect starting point for exploring Dublin’s literary history and cultural treasures.
MoLI Experience
MoLI offers visitors an immersive experience that delves into the world of Irish literature. The museum traces our rich literary heritage from past to present in the historic Newman House. Immersive exhibitions and their own digital radio station [https://moli.ie/radio/] make this a very different sort of museum. Check out their café – The Commons – for a quick bite, and get a table in the tranquil garden if the weather allows. Afterwards you can make your way along the path and out through the back gate into perhaps our favourite city park – the Iveagh Gardens. Now there’s some real local knowledge for you.
